Some Good, Some Bad, Place: Speed, screen, weight, performance, battery life. Dislikes: No DVD player / recorder, black stains on the case, sometimes noisy hard drive. Overall: Just OK.

Switched To The Other Side, Eventually I did. I crossed the line and switch to a Mac Life with a PC user has not been an easy decision, but with many of my friends), switching to a Mac (and loving it, I decided to abandon ship. Practically all what you heard is true to a Mac, is faster, cooler, virus-free and aesthetically pleasing. We must get used to the operating system, but it was not too difficult to adapt. There are so many cool features, and I think the trackpad itself is single handedly has the mouse obsolete. The MacBook Pro is really every day for people who want only equipped to surf the Internet, enjoy the pictures and basically have a laptop reliable. All that said, the only why I switched to a Mac is only because I am an everyday user who uses the laptop for fun Clock. I would not have switched to a Mac if I do it with work or still in school (is) because of my background in engineering.
